Asian propylene prices inch down last week

Propylene prices marginally fell in Asia in the last week due to unfavourable market conditions in the region.

In Korea, average prices shrunk by US$ 5/ton and secured at US$ 1040/ton in the last week, after a drop of 0.48 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices reduced by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1030/ton in the last week, a declination of 0.48 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 5/ton and recorded at US$ 955/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, a fall of 0.52 per cent.
 
In China, average prices went down by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 1080/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.46 per cent as compared to the previous week.
