Asian Propylene prices march higher last week

Propylene prices surged in Asia in the last week due to lift in the buying activity in the market.

In Korea, average prices soared by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 785/ton in the last week as compared to previous week, an increase of 3.29 per cent.

In Japan, average prices moved up by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 775/ton in the last week, showing a hike of 1.31 per cent over the previous week.

In China, average prices went up by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 830/ton in the last week, registering a rise of 2.47 per cent from the previous week.
