Asian propylene prices show mix trend last week

Propylene prices displayed mixed undertone in Asia in the last week.
 
In Korea and Japan average prices jumped up due to bullish buying trends in the country.
 
In Korea, average prices gained by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 1090/ton in the last week over the previous week, an increment of 0.93 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices hiked by US$ 5/ton and settled at US$ 1090/ton in the last week, an advancement of 0.46 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In China, average prices remained steady and recorded at US$ 1135/ton in the last week over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week due to mute buying interest in the market.
 
In SE Asia and India average prices dropped down due to insipid market conditions.
 
In SE Asia, average prices shrunk by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1030/ton in the last week, after a drop of 0.48 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In India, average prices declined by US$ 10/ton and finalized at US$ 1025/ton in the last week, showing a fall of 0.97 per cent over the previous week.
