Asian propylene rises last week from buying lift

Propylene prices rose in Asia in the last week ended March 18 from lift in buying interest in the region.

In Korea, average prices grew by US$ 30/ton or 4.65 per cent and were assessed at US$ 675/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices climbed by US$ 30/ton and were offered at US$ 670/ton in the last week, up 4.69 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices ascended by US$ 30/ton and were spotted at US$ 745/ton in the last week, an increase of 4.20 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In India, average prices expanded by US$ 30/ton or 4.20 per cent from its previous and were quoted at US$ 745/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices mounted by US$ 35/ton and were witnessed at US$ 730/ton in the last week, up 5.04 per cent versus its prior week.
