Asian propylene rises last week from improved sentiments

Propylene prices rose in Asia in the last week ended Feb 12 from improved downstream market sentiments.

In Korea, average prices grew by US$ 5/ton or 0.88 per cent and were assessed at US$ 575/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices expanded by US$ 5/ton and were quoted at US$ 575/ton in the last week, up 0.88 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices mounted by US$ 5/ton and were offered at US$ 675/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.75 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In India, average prices ascended by US$ 5/ton or 0.75 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 675/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton and were witnessed at US$ 615/ton in the last week, up 1.65 per cent as compared to its prior week.
