Bangladesh's FBCCI signs MoU with Dubai International Chamber

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) and the Dubai International Chamber (DIC) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance bilateral trade and investment. FBCCI president Mohammad Jashim Uddin and chairman of DIC Sultan Ahmed bin Suleiman signed the MoU on behalf of their organisations.

The signing ceremony was held at the Leadership Pavilion of Dubai Expo 2020 in the presence of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her UAE counterpart Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The MoU was part of four MoUs signed between the two countries to boost cooperation.

Jashim Uddin said by strengthening trade relations with Dubai, Bangladesh can access markets of the CIS countries and Africa, according to bangla media reports.

Hasina is on a on a five-day official visit to the gulf country this week.
