Bearish sentiments support lower Asian PTA prices

PTA prices stepped down in Asia in the last week due to bearish buying sentiments in the region.

In FE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 640/ton in the last week, a fall of 0.78 per cent as compared to previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices plunged by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 660/ton in the last week, a decrement of 0.75 per cent over the previous week.

In China, average prices declined by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 635/ton in the last week, a drop of 1.55 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In India, average prices went down by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 665/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.75 per cent as compared to previous week.
