Benzene prices surge in US last week

Benzene prices moved up in US in the last week due to improved buying interest in the region.

In US, Benzene prices increased by 15 cents and quoted at 240 cents/gallon in the last week, as compared to previous week, a hike of 6.67 per cent.

Meanwhile Benzene prices surged in Europe in the last week due to higher upstream energy values.

In Europe, average prices went up by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 685/ton in the last week, a rise of 4.58 per cent over the previous week.
