  • Organised by 11 textile export councils and the ministry of textiles, it will feature exhibitions, knowledge sessions, G2G and B2B meetings, MoUs, product launches, and more.
Bharat Tex 2024 Expo is a unique platform, poised to showcase India’s entire textile value chain and highlight the country’s strengths in fashion, traditional crafts, and sustainability initiatives. The global textile mega event, organised by a consortium of 11 textile export promotion councils and supported by the ministry of textiles, is scheduled from February 26-29 at Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan and Yashobhoomi at IICC in New Delhi.

The event will feature exhibitions, knowledge sessions, thematic discussions, government-to-government (G2G) meetings, business-to-business (B2B) networks, the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoUs), product launches, thematic and interactive pavilions, and various other activities. It has been designed to attract multiple stakeholders including top policymakers, global CEOs, international exhibitors, and global buyers, the organisers said on its website.

With dedicated pavilions on sustainability and recycling, thematic discussions on resilient global supply chains and digitisation, interactive fabric testing zones, product demonstrations and masterclasses by crafts persons with over 3 generations of tradition and history and a marque event involving global brands and international designers, Bharat Tex 2024 promises to be a unique experience for knowledge, business, and networking.

“Bharat Tex 2024 Expo is not just an event but a testament to India's commitment to becoming a global textile powerhouse. With innovation, collaboration, and the Make in India spirit at its core, this expo is the embodiment of India’s 5F vision—Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign—making products not just for India but for the entire world,” textiles minister Piyush Goyal said at the curtain raiser event for the show recently.

Bharat Tex 2024 will highlight the richness of Indian textiles and strengthen its image as a custodian of tradition, innovation, and sustainability. It will also celebrate India's reliability as a competitive, sustainable textile manufacturing hub across the entire value chain, from raw materials to end products.
