The company took and completed many MES projects for leading Chinese textile companies, including an order for the installation of its Spinmaster MES at the leading Chinese high-end twisted yarns producer San Yang Textile Co's 450 ring spindles.
Chinese textile companies increasingly realise that the use of MES is necessary to meet the quality requirements and expenditure in the modern manufacturing industry. To support the fast growing market, BMS opened an office at Pudong area, Shanghai. System installation, sales, customer training and after-sales service will be taken care of from this office for the Chinese market.
BMS, which was established in 2007 as a carve-out from the Barco group, is a leading supplier of MES for discrete manufacturing, with focus on the textiles, plastics and pharmaceutical industry.
