The largest petrochemical company in the Americas, Braskem said it has set a new production record in the third quarter of 2016 at its operations in Brazil. Ethylene output was at a record 903 kilo tons, while production of basic petrochemicals reached 1.6 million tons, up 4 per cent and 3 per cent, respectively, over the same period of 2015.
