German textile machinery manufacture Bruckner will begin construction of a new production plant this month. The company will spend €40 million in construction of the facility, which includes the land, buildings and machinery and is planned for completion at end of 2017. The new factory will offer 25,000 sq. metres of built up space and house 180 employees.

In planning the new production site, particular importance was attached to the protection of the environment and an especially energy saving building technique.

The new building provides thermal protection and daylight admission at the same time and by installing a large photovoltaic system on the roof, the company will additionally save energy. While a large green space around the building, will provide for ecological diversity.

Once the facility is brought online, Bruckner will now be able to produce bigger and heavier components and line parts, than until now, as machines with working widths of more than seven metres can be installed, while heavy components can be transported more easily. (AR)
