Cambodia exported goods worth $5.671 billion to members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in the first eleven months last year—a year on year (YoY) rise of 5 per cent, according to data from the ministry of commerce. The country’s export to members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) amounted to $2,921 million—a YoY increase of 10 per cent.

The country’s top three export RCEP destinations were China, Vietnam and Japan with shipped products worth $1,109 million, $1,894 million and $1,069 million respectively.

China ranks top among the sources for imported goods with a total of $9,470 million, followed by Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore with $3,617 million, $3,542 million and $3,169 million respectively, Cambodian media outlets reported.

The country expects to see export growth between 9.4 per cent and 18 per cent, which will contribute to the national economic growth between 2 per cent and 3.8 per cent, the commerce ministry said.
