Canada-based Earth Alive Clean Technologies Inc wants to expand to the Asian market, bringing its Clean Fibre Initiative, a collaborative project to improve production of natural fibre crops in Canada and around the world, to that region, according to firm CEO Michael Warren. The initiative is currently under way in North America, Africa and Latin America.

Expansion to Asia assumes importance as China is one of the largest producers of hemp, an alternative to cotton, in the world, Warren told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.

In fact, the registration process for the company is already under progress in several Asian countries, he added. (DS)
