China's logistics sector reported steady growth in the January-February this year, according to a report by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. Social logistics rose by 7.2 per cent year on year (YoY) during the duration to 51.8 trillion yuan ($8.13 trillion), outperforming the pre-pandemic level in 2019, while logistics for industrial products went up 7.5 per cent.Logistics of high-tech manufacturing and equipment manufacturing climbed by 14.4 per cent and by 9.6 per cent respectively during the two-month period, according to a Chinese state-controlled news outlet.
The total revenue of the logistics industry rose by 9.7 per cent YoY to 1.6 trillion yuan during the period.
