China's textile & garment exports dip 2.71% in Jan-Sep '19

Textile and garment exports from China decreased by 2.71 per cent year-on-year to $201.95 billion, according to customs statistics. Exports of textiles (yarn, fabrics and related products) earned $89.15 billion, showing a marginal decline of 0.1 per cent. Exports of garments and accessories fell 4.7 per cent year-on-year to $112.79 billion.

In September 2019, China's textile and garment exports stood at $24.51 billion. Of this, textile exports fetched $9.76 billion, while the remaining $14.75 billion were from garment and accessories exports, the data showed.
