DCCI calls for withdrawing restriction on ops at Bangladesh land port

Such an ‘abrupt and unexpected’ decision is likely to cause significant financial losses to traders and raise the lead time in foreign trade, DCCI was cited as saying by domestic media reports.

Hundreds of goods trucks, particularly those carrying perishable items, are now stranded on both sides of the border.
