Deepak Spinners completes capacity expansion

Chandigarh based Deepak Spinners has completed capacity expansion at its plant in Guna, Madhya Pradesh.

“The capacity expansion at Guna Plant of the company as planned by installing 14,112 spindles together with related machinery and accessories, at a capital cost of Rs 62 crore, has been completed and commercial production has started,” the company informed the BSE.

Deepak Spinners manufactures yarn of counts 8-40 Ne in polyester, viscose, acrylic, polyester viscose blend, and polyester acrylic blend. The company also manufactures carpet pile yarns in acrylic and line blends with poly-viscose, trilobal/polyester blends, and high bulk acrylic and poly-acrylic yarns, according to the company's website.
