Supplier of camera based automatic vision inspection for textile fabrics and technical webs, Elbit Vision said it has received Chinese orders amounting to around $1 million from various textile companies in the country. Among them was an order for seven nonwoven inspection systems from a Chinese customer, bagged through a highly competitive bid.

Another was a repeat order for IQ-TEX4 automatic inspection systems in combination with Shade Variation Analysers from a company, who made their initial investment last year.

According to the CEO of Elbit, Sam Cohen, these orders represent real success in their strategy to further penetrate the important textile manufacturing market of China.

“Our nonwoven inspection system win demonstrates the technical leadership of our systems in how we are able to meet our customers' demands and exceed our competition's abilities,” he added. (AR)
