Ethylene prices improve in Asia last week

Ethylene prices improved in Asia in the last week due to limited product availability in the region.
 
In FE Asia, average prices enhanced by US$ 35/ton and quoted at US$ 1295/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a rise of 2.78 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices moved up by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 1290/ton in the last week, an increase of 2.79 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices edged higher by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 1145/ton in the last week, an increment of 2.23 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices surged by US$ 60/ton and assessed at US$ 1385/ton in the last week, registering a hike of 4.53 per cent from the previous week.
