Ethylene prices march lower in Asia last week

Ethylene prices declined in Asia in the last week due to sluggish buying trend in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices moved down by US$ 35/ton and quoted at US$ 1120/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 3.03 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices reduced by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 1115/ton in the last week, a drop of 3.04 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices inched lower by US$ 45/ton and quoted at US$ 1015/ton in the last week, a decrease of 4.25 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 70/ton and assessed at US$ 1125/ton in the last week, registering a reduction of 5.86 per cent from the previous week.
