Euro area sees 7.6% YoY drop in industrial producer prices in Jul 2023

Industrial producer prices in the euro area in July ****, compared with June ****, decreased by *.* per cent for intermediate goods and by *.* per cent in the energy sector, while prices increased by *.* per cent for non-durable consumer goods and by *.* per cent for durable consumer goods. Prices in total industry excluding energy decreased by *.* per cent, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the EU.

In the EU, industrial producer prices decreased by *.* per cent for intermediate goods, by *.* per cent in the energy sector, and by *.* per cent for non-durable consumer goods, while prices remained stable for durable consumer goods. Prices in total industry excluding energy decreased by *.* per cent.
