Elbit Vision Systems (EVS) Ltd., a pioneer in the science of camera-based automatic vision inspection for textile fabrics and technical webs, has bagged an order for multiple systems that totals over $650,000 from a Taiwanese customer. The order, which contained both IQ-TEX4 and SVA systems, will be installed in factories in both Taiwan and US during 2017.

The order was placed by a customer who had previously bought a single IQ-TEX4 system. EVS offers a broad portfolio of automatic state-of-the-art visual inspection systems for both in-line and off-line applications, and process monitoring systems used to improve product quality, safety, and increase production efficiency. EVS' systems are used by over 800 customers, many of which are leading global companies.

"We are very pleased with this follow-on order from a very important and influential customer.  Their positive experience with our systems and the quick return on their investment demonstrates how an initial penetration of our technology leads to a strong, lasting partnership," Sam Cohen, chief executive officer of EVS.
