Elbit Vision Systems (EVS), a pioneer in the science of camera-based automatic vision inspection for textile fabrics and technical webs, has received orders for IQ-TEX4 and SVA systems. The orders are from an important, top-tier global manufacturer of apparel. The systems will be installed at one of their manufacturing facilities in Thailand.

The order amounts to $600,000 and is to be delivered this year, the Israel based company said.

“This order is a significant and successful step in broadening our penetration of the apparel market in Asia. It represents the first of what we believe will be many more future orders from this customer. It also gives us an important reference in Thailand to further penetrate the huge textile market in Asia,” Sam Cohen, CEO of EVS, said.

The broad portfolio offered by EVS includes automatic state-of-the-art inspection systems for both in-line and off-line applications, and process monitoring systems used to improve product quality, safety, and increase production efficiency. EVS' systems are used by over 800 customers, many of which are leading global companies. (RKS)
