With an eye on the transformation of the textile, clothing and manufacturing sector, Expo Producción Mexico 2025 returns to one of the main forums in Latin America for the textile value chain. The next edition will be held from September 25 to 27 at the Banamex Center in Mexico City, in a strategic alliance with FESPA Mexico 2025, which will allow attendees to explore, in the same space, the most advanced in manufacturing, apparel and digital printing solutions.

Industry overview in Mexico

The economic environment marks a challenging year for Mexico. According to the OECD and the Bank of Mexico, projected growth for 2025 is between 0.1% and 1.2%, with inflation close to 3.2%, which opens the door to a gradual reduction in interest rates. Despite this scenario, the manufacturing sector maintains its relevance by concentrating more than 54% of the foreign direct investment received in 2024, equivalent to 36,872 million dollars.

In particular, the textile and clothing industry plays a key role in the national economy. With nearly 1.2 million jobs registered at the end of 2024, of which 59% are occupied by women in garment processes, the sector remains one of the areas with the highest female labor inclusion in Mexico. In addition, in 2023 textile exports reached 9,300 million dollars, although imports exceeded 13,300 million, a balance that underscores the need to strengthen productive and competitive capacities in the coming years.

A platform with a comprehensive vision

In this context, Expo Producción 2025 is presented as a catalyst for innovation to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector. The event will bring together a large number of exhibiting brands with the latest in manufacturing, cutting and sewing equipment, fabrics, fibers and threads, non-woven fabrics, and textile machinery.

The event will feature the participation of internationally recognized companies that share objectives such as generating new business opportunities, creating alliances between manufacturers and potential customers, boosting the growth of sales of distributors in the sector and publicizing the most recent trends in the industry, to promote a complete ecosystem where all the links of the industry converge.

Synergy with FESPA Mexico 2025

The partnership with FESPA amplifies the value of the show by integrating the latest innovations in digital printing, sublimation, textile printing, cutting and engraving, packaging and labels. Both platforms respond to the growing convergence between manufacturing and printing, where personalization, speed of response and technological integration are decisive factors to meet the demands of today's consumer.

A space for updating and networking

In addition to the trade exhibition, Expo Producción México 2025 will offer a program of conferences and specialized panels on topics such as the impact of tariff policies on the textile industry, workwear with integrated technology, and digital transformation in mass consumption, among other relevant topics. The meeting will also be a space for strategic connection between industry leaders, associations and international experts, promoting dialogue on the challenges and opportunities of a region that is reconfiguring itself under the phenomenon of nearshoring.

Expo Producción Mexico 2025 will take place from September 25 to 27 at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City, co-located with FESPA Mexico 2025. Attendees will be able to access with a cost of $180.00 MXN from September 1 to 21, and from September 22 to 27 the cost will be $250.00 MXN.
