German GDP in Q4 2023 down 0.3% QoQ, 0.2% YoY: Destatis

After the German economy more or less stagnated in the first three quarters, economic performance decreased in Q4.

Price-adjusted GDP fell by 0.3 per cent in 2023. After price and calendar adjustment, the decline was 0.1 per cent.

GDP in Q4 2023 was down a price-adjusted 0.4 per cent year on year (YoY). After price and calendar adjustment, the decrease was smaller—minus 0.2 per cent.
