Uttar Pradesh (UP) chief minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath recently told high commissioner of Bangladesh to India Muhammad Imran that there are several opportunities for exporters and investors from Bangladesh in the state in fabric production, weaving, spinning and defence manufacturing. The latter met the former at his official residence in state capital Lucknow.The envoy discussed ways to further strengthen ties between the two countries, and especially with Uttar Pradesh, a news agency reported.
Bangladesh is India's largest trading partner in South Asia and India is Bangladesh's second-largest trading partner.
