Hybrid ITMF Annual Conference 2020 from October 20

The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) is organising its annual conference this year in Seoul, South Korea. The Hybrid ITMF Annual Conference 2020 themed 'The Corona-Pandemic: Re-shaping the Global Textile Supply Chain' will be co-hosted by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI). The 3-day conference will begin on October 20.
 
The live + virtual conference will begin with a welcome address by ITMF president Kihak Sung. This will be followed by a keynote address on 'Reshaping of global economy and geopolitical dynamics in the post-COVID-19 era: challenges and opportunities for textile industries' by Kwang-Woo Jun from the Institute for Global Economics.
 
The first session on the opening day will focus on Korea's textile industry, while the second session will be devoted to management and data.
 
The live & virtual sessions on cotton, manmade fibres, sustainability & circular economy, SLCP as a tool to end audit fatigue, and the future of the Chinese textile industry will be held on October 21.
 
The final day will see sessions on the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, innovation and technical textiles, and collaboration.
 
ITMF is an international forum for the world's textile and related industries, dedicated to keeping the world-wide membership constantly informed through surveys, studies and publications, participating in the evolution of the industry's value chain and through the organisation of annual conferences as well as publishing considered opinions on future trends and international developments.
