Increase RMG exports to South Africa: BGMEA president

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) president Faruque Hassan hosted a discussion on various trade related issues including possible areas and ways of expanding trade between Bangladesh and South Africa. At the meeting, delegates talked about how Bangladesh could increase RMG exports to the South African market.

Their discussion held recently in South Africa covered how Bangladesh and South Africa could collaborate and share technological know-how for mutual benefits, BGMEA said in a press release.

South African Minister of international relations and cooperation Dr Naledi Pandor invited a delegation from BGMEA to visit South Africa to explore opportunities in investment and joint ventures between the two countries.
