India ITME Society elects Ketan Sanghvi as new chairman

Sanghvi is the director of Laxmi Shuttleless Looms Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, which is one of India’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of shuttleless looms. He is also a partner in Creation Textiles, Ahmedabad, which is among the oldest manufacturers of dobbies, and director of Wanland Datacom (India) Pvt Ltd—a specialist in WAN and wireless connectivity solutions, India ITME Society said in a press release.

Sanghvi has always actively contributed to the industry and served as president, Indian Textiles Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers’ Association in 2006-2007. He also held the director position at the Rotary Club of Mumbai Queen’s Necklace in 2006-2007. Sanghvi has also served as the longest-serving honorary treasurer of India ITME Society since 2017.

The India ITME Society acknowledged the valuable contributions of outgoing chairman S Hari Shankar, joint managing director of Lakshmi Card Clothing Mfg Co Pvt Ltd, during 2017-2023.
