Goyal met Douglas McNeill, the chief economic advisor to the UK prime minister, and interacted with businesses and industry representatives and members of UK chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
The Indian minister’s meeting with Artieda discussed the shared goal of swiftly concluding ongoing negotiations for the planned Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) to establish a fair, mutually-beneficial and comprehensive trade deal between India and EFTA.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expedite the conclusion of the TEPA, an official release from the Indian government said.
