In November last year, such prices grew by 1.7 per cent MoM in both the areas.
The same remained stable year on year (YoY) in the euro area and increased by 0.1 per cent YoY in the EU in December 2024.
The annual average of such prices for 2024 decreased by 4.2 per cent YoY in the euro area and by 4 per cent YoY in the EU.
Prices in total industry excluding energy remained stable MoM in both the areas.
The highest MoM increases in industrial producer prices were recorded in Bulgaria (plus 5.1 per cent), Croatia (plus 2.4 per cent) and Slovakia (plus 1.5 per cent). The largest decreases were observed in Ireland (minus 1.5 per cent), Romania (minus 1.3 per cent) and the Netherlands (minus 0.4 per cent).
Prices in total industry excluding energy increased by 0.9 per cent YoY in the euro area and by 1 per cent YoY in the EU.
The highest annual increases in industrial producer prices were recorded in Ireland (plus 11.1 per cent), Bulgaria (plus 6.6 per cent) and Denmark (plus 4.7 per cent). The largest decreases were observed in Slovakia (minus 17 per cent), Luxembourg (minus 4.2 per cent) and France (minus 3.8 per cent).
