In July 2023, Italy’s seasonally adjusted industrial production index decreased by 0.7 per cent compared with the previous month, according to Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat). The change of the average of the last three months with respect to the previous three months was 0.2 per cent.The country’s calendar adjusted industrial production index decreased by 2.1 per cent in July 2023, compared with July 2022. In July 2023, Italy saw a 0.7 per cent monthly decrease in its seasonally adjusted industrial production index, according to Istat.
Compared to July 2022, both the calendar and unadjusted industrial production indices fell by 2.1 per cent.
Index for manufacture of textile, wearing apparel, leather, and accessories decreased by 1.6 per cent YoY.
