Mixed trend in India's man-made yarn markets; festival lifts polyester

Ludhiana market saw mixed trend in yarn market. PC yarn prices eased by &#****;* per kg as falling cotton prices provided relief to spinning mills. However, polyester spun yarn and recycled polyester yarn gained due to higher festival demand. A trader from Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, “Although, yarn market is facing payment constraints, the festival season boosted demand of polyester yarn. But PC yarn did not perform well as seasonal demand slumped after summer.”
