Moda UK to allure buyers in February edition

Moda UK will wow buyers with an array of sought-after footwear and accessories brands during its February edition. Delivering a high quality and cost-effective platform for mid-market brands and a commercially viable and convenient buying environment for retailers across the UK and Ireland, Moda will bring together over 1,200 collections under one roof.
 
Moda will continue to showcase the best wholesale collections of womenswear, footwear and accessories. During Moda, taking place between February 17 and 19, 2019 at the Birmingham NEC, the catwalk shows will inspire and bring to life the collections on a variety of body shapes, while the retail-focused content programme will look at how retailers can do more to serve the increasingly affluent Elastic Generation demographic. Collections from various brands namely Geox, Loake, Birkenstock, Chatham, Fly London, Steptronic, Rieker, Hotter, Bugatti, Lunar, Alpe, Suzie Blue, Zohara (bags), Gabys, Tilley & Grace, Suzanne Bettley, Max & Ellie, Tempest Designs, Whiteley Fischer Hats, and Pineapple Island will be showcased along with the UK launch of the AW19 Alexa Chung collection for Superga.
 
For AW19, Superga will launch its new collection with Alexa Chung, as well as a host of new colours, animal prints, fluoro colourways and sports luxe trainers for women, and corduroy and military styles for men, ITE Group, the organiser of the show, said in a press release.
 
"We've enjoyed huge success at Moda over the years, but as the market changes so do the demands of our brands. New business is at the top of everyone's agenda at the moment and exhibitors have been asking us for an event in London for some time," Moda event director Silvia Collins said. (RR)
