Mutoh introduces new direct-to-garment printer

Mutoh has introduced the new ValueJet 405GT direct-to-garment printer with CMYK + White inks especially for fashion designers, promotional garment printers, online web shop businesses as well as screen printers. It is best suited for sampling, customised one-off prints as well as short-run production of items such as t-shirts and canvas bags.

Made in Japan, the new printer features four piezo drop-on-demand print heads, latest generation electronics and dedicated high quality Oeko-Tex compliant water based pigmented textile inks to produce vibrant colours with excellent white ink density on a variety of garments. It is ideal for customised one-offs and short run production of direct-to-garment applications, says the company.

Accommodating different sizes of easily interchangeable print platens (S, M, L) and an easy-to-use LCD touch screen, the VJ-405GT is convenient for established as well as starting direct-to-garment businesses. It has CMYK + white inks on board, with a dedicated ink circulation system for the white, for the digital production of dark coloured and light coloured garments.

With a printable area of 420 x 576 mm and print resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi the ValueJet 405GT offers high print quality outputs.

Mutoh has also launched the new ValueJet 404GT CMYK direct-to-garment printer for printing on white or light coloured garments. (KD)
