The National Cotton Council (NCC) directors for 2021 were announced at the recently held NCC’s virtual 2021 annual meeting. As the central organisation of the US cotton industry, the NCC’s mission is to ensure the ability of all US cotton industry segments to compete effectively and profitably in the raw cotton, oilseed, and US-manufactured product markets.
The newly elected producers include Rusty Darby, Chester; Jason Condrey, Lake Providence; Doyle Schniers, San Angelo; Dan Thelander, Maricopa; and Mark McKean, Riverdale. The new warehousers elected are Donald Robinson, Garner; Joe Tillman, Cordova; Eric Wanjura, Lubbock; Coalter Paxton, III, Wilson; and Robert Swize, Corpus Christi. The merchants include Raymond Faus, Plano; Bobby Walton, Memphis; and Joe Nicosia, William Barksdale, and Jeff Johnson, all of Cordova, Tennesse, according to a media statement by NCC.
Directors of cottonseed include Fred Serven, Chattanooga; Paul Scruggs, Overland Park; Sammy Wright, Tifton; Austin Rose, Altus; and Jerrod Drinnon, Lubbock. The new co-operatives include Keith Lucas, Lubbock; Henry N. Reichle, Jr., Greenwood; Paul Bush, Glendale; Wayne Boseman, Garner; and Reid Nichols, Altus, Oklahoma. The new list of manufacturers has Anderson Warlick and James Martin, both of Gastonia; Mike Quinn, Sanford; William Bowen, Jr., Inman; and Marc Doyon, Stamford, Connecticut, NCC said.
