Mergers and acquisitions in Turkiye reached TL 86.2 billion in 2022. The overall figure of mergers and acquisitions included seven privatisation transactions that totalled TL 14 billion.
The privatisation deals were completed in various sectors including natural gas import and distribution, as per the report.
In 2021, Turkiye’s mergers and acquisitions reached TL 42.6 billion, and the overall figure included seven privatisation transactions totalled TL 95 billion.
