Ministry of Commerce (MOC) of the People's Republic of China informed the trade results of Jiangsu with ASEAN during January to November 2005.
Imports and exports of Jiangsu with ASEAN were US$20.66 billion, up by 43.3 percent in January through November, accounting for 10 percent of total imports and exports of Jiangsu.
Export was US$8.66 billion, up by 44.9 percent, and import was US$12 billion, up by 42.1 percent.
During the tenth five-year planning, bilateral trade between Jiangsu and ASEAN developed fast, up by 40 percent annually.
In particular, China-ASEAN FTA started tariff reduction on July 1, which brought business opportunity of bilateral trade.
ASEAN became the fourth import source, the fifth export market and sixth trading partner of Jiangsu.
