Du Pareil Au Meme (DPAM), the French children's clothing and footwear retailer, has confirmed a change in its senior management team less than two months after publicizing a plan to double exports in the next four years.

The Wissous-based DPAM stated it appointed Nicolas Bertrand as head of finances and administration with immediate effect.

Bertrand will join DPAM from French artistic supplies company Artacrea and succeeds Christine Beneteau, who is leaving the company for undisclosed reasons. He also worked for European mobile phone retailer The Phone House.

In late October, DPAM reported it planned to strongly expand abroad and double exports to 40 percent of total sales by 2010. The company expansion would focus on Southern Europe, which was showing the strongest growth. It may make acquisitions to boost growth in future.

In the first half of 2005, DPAM saw sales rise 6.1 percent to €61.7 million whilst international sales rose 18 percent with sales at stores in Europe up 20 percent.
