Prime Textiles to set up Home Textile Mfrg plant

Textile player Prime Textiles Ltd informed that the company is planning to fabricate Home Textile Manufacturing (Mfrg) unit with fabric processing capacity.

Prime Textile will invest Rs 380 crore in Andhra Pradesh (AP) for this plant. It will have 30,000 meters or day of weaving capacity & fabric processing capacity of 1,10,000 meters or day.

The Board of Directors (BOD) has also granted the proposed expansion plan which will raise the capacity of spinning to 1 lakh ring spindles.

Company BOD has also make a standard plan to develop spindleage in the next phase to 1,50,000 ring spindles. They also approved the proposal for merger of subsidiary companies with the company.

Tirupur based vertically integrated textile manufacturing company Prime Textiles Ltd's Garments Unit has versatility to cater to varied segments such as outer garments and undergarments including fashion and sports wear for men, ladies and children.
