WACKER to raise Vinyl acetate-based dispersions prices in Americas

WACKER POLYMERS is to raise its prices for VINNAPAS vinyl acetate-ethylene and ehtylene-vinyl chloride-based copolymer dispersions in the Americas.
Effective October 14, WACKER will implement a price increase of $0.03 per wet pound, or as customer contracts allow. This measure has been necessitated by the continued increase in raw-material and distribution cost.
The price adjustments will enable WACKER POLYMERS to continue providing excellent quality and comprehensive technical service and to boost the development of innovative product and process technologies for the benefit of customers.
VINNAPAS dispersions are applied in a broad variety of industries, ranging from adhesives, nonwovens, paints and coatings to paper, building products, carpet and textiles.
