The acronytrile (ACN) plant of INEOS based in Seal Sands, UK has been shutdown for a scheduled maintenance turnaround.
An INEOS official informed fibre2fashion that the ACN plant went off-stream on October 15 and will remain shutdown for a period of 40 days till November 21.
The ACN plant has a production capacity of 280,000 tons per year.
He further revealed that the current European price of acronytrile is US $1900 per ton.
