Statistics Bureau Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications released the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for ku-area of Tokyo for December 2005.
The CPI for ku-area of Tokyo in December 2005 was 96.8(2000=100), as the same level from the previous month, and down 0.6 percent from the previous year.
The consumer price index for Japan in November 2005 was 97.8(2000=100), down 0.3 percent from the previous month, and down 0.8 percent from the previous year.
Clothes and footwear prices registered 98.7 points during December 2005. Index shown this price is decrease 0.4 percent over the last year.
