The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) is organising exclusive Indian Textile Exhibition in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The Exhibition will be held in association with the High Commission of India at the BMICH Convention & Exhibition Center, Colombo, Sri Lanka during January 11-12, 2006.
The participating companies will be allowed to display the entire range of synthetic, rayon and blended textile item including yarn, fabrics and made-up items that fall under the purview of the Council.
Exports of synthetic and rayon textiles to Sri Lanka have increased in the last five years from Rs.124.99 crores in 2000-01 to Rs. 222.25 crores in 2004-05. Fabrics and yarn form the bulk of exports to Sri Lanka.
The Council will be carrying out an extensive programme of publicity and promotion with the help of the High Commission to ensure the visit of maximum number of Sri Lankan buyers to the Exhibition. The leading buyers, agents and garment manufacturers will be specially targeted.
The Council will arrange for hotel accommodation for the participants at a hotel at competitive rates. Help in obtaining visa/air ticket/foreign exchange, etc. will also be provided by the Council.
The participation fee for the Exhibition is Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand only). (Please note participation fee does not include hotel charges, air ticket, visa charges etc.).
The participation fee should be sent vide a draft/cheque drawn in favour of The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council, Mumbai along with the Reply Form sent herewith at the earliest but not later than 28th November 2005 (Please note that all companies outside Mumbai should send their payment by DD only).
