An ethylene plant of the Chinese state-owned refiner and petrochemical major – Sinopec has become the biggest ethylene producer in China.
Ethylene production exceeded 1.3 million tons at Sinopec Tianjin Company in 2011, to rank first in ethylene output in China.
Alongside, Sinopec Tianjin has also achieved the best performance in its history in seven of the thirteen major energy consumption indicators.
Some of the indicators are among the best PE energy consumption and rank first among similar units.
