Korean based firm KP Chemical operates three lines of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA).
It has scheduled a maintenance turnaround at its two lines No-2 and No-3 in the month of May and June, 2012, respectively, a company official told fibre2fashion.
Line No-2 will be undergoing a minor shut down for 3 days in the month of June, 2012, whereas, line No-3 will be shut down for 17 days in the month of May 2012.
The PTA plant which is located at Ulsan, has a total production capacity of 1250 KT/ Year.
Line No-1 has a production capacity of 200 KT/ year, line No-2 400 KT/ Year and line No-3 has a production capacity of 650 KT/ Year.
