Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia released the Industrial Output results for November 2005.
The report stated compared with November of the previous year, there was increase in textiles manufacturing output. And Chemicals & chemical products were also increase in November 2005.
Compared with November of the previous year, seasonally adjusted industrial production output in November 2005 increased by 7.0 percent (an increase of 43.7 percent in mining and quarrying, 10.1 percent in manufacturing and a decrease of 4.6 percent in electricity, gas and water supply), according to the Central Statistical Bureau.
Compared with November of the previous year, there were the following increases in production output in November 2005: 31.3 percent in the manufacture of electrical machinery and apparatus, 28.7 percent in the manufacture of rubber and plastics, 27.2 percent in the manufacture of non-metallic mineral products (ceramic products, cement, concrete and other products).
There was 26.1 percent in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products, 22.5 percent in publishing, printing and reproduction of recorded media, 19.9 percent in the manufacture of textiles.
The decreases in industrial output were 6.5 percent in the manufacture of basic metals, 6.3 percent in the manufacture of other transport equipment (ships, boats, locomotives, repair of the rolling stock) and 3.9 percent in the manufacture of wearing apparel; there were also decreases in other industries.
Compared with October 2005, industrial output in November increased by 0.9 percent (8.3 percent in mining and quarrying, 0.7 percent in manufacturing and 1.2 percent in electricity, gas and water supply).
