Ineos UK ACN plant to go off-stream in Q3

Ineos has restarted operations at its Acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in Cologne – Germany on April 30 and its ACN plant in UK will undergo a maintenance turnaround in the third quarter of 2012

As informed to Fibre2fashion, ACN plant based in Cologne, Germany, has already restarted its operations on April 30, 2012, which had been taken off-stream in Mid-April.

On a further note, the Company official said that the plant located at Seal Sands, UK will commence a maintenance turnaround in the third quarter of 2012.

It will be taken off stream in the month of July, 2012 and will remain shut for a period of 10-15 days.

The plant located at Seal Sands has ACN capacity of 280,000 mt/year and the one based in Cologne has capacity of 100,000 mt/year.
