Ulsan PTA plant of KP Chemicals operating at 85% rates

Two lines at the PTA plant located in Ulsan – South Korea, managed by KP Chemicals are currently operating at 85 percent capacity.

This was disclosed by a company official to fibre2fashion.

He further informed that, PTA line no -3 had recently undergone a turnaround and was shut down from May 8 till May 23.

He also revealed that there were no plans of maintenance shutdowns at the PTA plant in the current year.

One of the lines has a production capacity of 350,000 tons per annum and the other line 600,000 tons per year.
